About Pfeiffer Farms, Owners and Trainers

Peg Pfeiffer

Peg was born and raised in South East Michigan, where she started riding at the age of 5 yrs old.  After a year of riding lessons Peg decided Hunter/Jumpers were her passion.  She showed ponies for herself and others, and eventually  started breaking and training young horses at the age of 15.

By the age of 18 Peg's  Hunter / Jumper experiences led her to compete in the sport of  3-Day Eventing.    She competed through the Intermediate Level and won many local, state and zone awards with several self-trained thoroughbreds off the track.

Peg's main training years were spent  with FEI dressage rider and trainer Barb Sudomeyer and  "A" circuit Hunter/Jumper trainer Zander Duffield, as well as attending and riding with many clinicians including, Ralph Hill, David and Karen O'Conner, Kyle Carter, Robin Walker, George Morris, Sue Ashley, and many others.

Eventually Peg's love for hunters combined with her  daughter now showing ponies, led Peg back to the Hunter ring.  For the past 7 yrs together they have been showing ponies,  hunters and jumpers on the “A” circuit.
