Hi, let me introduce myself.  My name is peg Pfeiffer, and I am the Instructor and Trainer here at Pfeiffer Farms in Ocala Florida.  I grew up in Michigan just 1 hour north of the Detroit Area.  As a very young child I continually begged for a pony.   When I was 5 yrs old I took my first riding lesson at Sugarbush Farm in Mt. Clemens Michigan (in a western saddle)   That was all it took and I was hooked.  After a handful of lessons from a British Ridng Instructor, I noticed that she  also taught English lessons.  I watched as kids in Breeches and velvet hunt caps did the posting trot and grid work over poles and eventually jumped fences.  I knew that was what I wanted to do, and my next set of lessons were in English tack.

Although I specialize in Eventing,  Hunter/Jumpers, &  Dressage are also in my daily routine.  At the age of 20 I became a proffessional and started my own business.   I retrained Thoroughbreds off the track for many disciplines.  Horse Sales were the heart of my business.  I also ran a successful riding school taking kids from the local shows, to Rated shows and Events in the Midwest States.  Both myself and my students Captured many Local, National, and Zone championships with both Eventing and Hunter shows. My riding skills range from Green Hunters to Mini Prixs, and Intermediate Eventing.

I started to venture south to Ocala every winter from 1998 to the present.  Falling in love with the beautiful rolling hills,  large farms and the warm winters was easy to do.  Eventually we bought a farm (where we currently reside), in SE Ocala. We are 1 mile from the Florida Horse Park.

At the age of 25, I married Mark Pfeiffer (from Richmond MI).  He was also a pro in the horse industry showing both in hand, halter and versatility with Purebred Arabians.  Mark also loved the Standardbred business and He is now a Succesful Breeder in the USTrotting Assoc and the Florida Standardbred Breeders Program.  (see our Stallion Page)
